HBOT
(Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy)
How does HBOT work?
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a treatment that involves breathing elevated levels of oxygen in a pressurized chamber.

What you’ll experience

We start your official treatment time from the time that the chamber is up to the correct pressure. The time taken to compress and decompress is self-managed and will vary from person to person but usually takes 8-10 minutes each time. We allow up to two hours clinic time per treatment. The time taken to complete a treatment will vary from person to person, most sessions will be between 45 - 90 minutes at pressure. All new participants will need to make a first session booking before booking any concession plans - this is to ensure that you fully understand and are comfortable with the treatment before making a commitment.
It is important that you arrive to the facility clean of any perfumes, makeup or sprays. You may not enter the chamber with any combustible materials on you, this includes wearing only 100% cotton in the chamber. We do provide a dedicated facility for you to shower and prepare onsite if required, please allow extra time to do this and make sure that you inform us prior to your booking time so that we can allow for the extra time needed to prepare you for your treatment.
What does it treat?

HBOT has been shown to improve mental health conditions such as PTSD, autism spectrum disorder, depression and anxiety.
By increasing the blood flow and oxygen delivery to the brain, HBOT can enhance cognitive function, mood and quality of life by the influence of neurotransmitters such as serotonin which regulate mood, behaviour and other aspects of brain function.
HBOT’s role in reducing stress, enhancing sleep quality, and improving overall energy levels makes it a valuable component of holistic wellness strategies, complementing other practices like meditation and mindfulness.
Hbot is also a useful modality for treatment of traumatic brain injury, soft tissue injury, wound healing and pre/post surgery preparation and recovery amongst other benefits. Professional athletes rely on hyperbaric treatment for faster recovery between training and competition.
